Tom grew up in the much maligned city of Flint, Michigan and can tell you that every bad thing ever said about Flint is true and probably too kind. A loyal University of Michigan fan since conception, after high school at Flint Northern, Tom made his escape to Ann Arbor the minute he retrieved his stolen car. After attending the most expensive state funded university in the nation, (U of M) for a few years, Tom ran out of money and joined the Army. He spent four years in the 82nd Airborne Division, when two years would have been plenty.
Tom finished his undergraduate work at Madonna University in Livonia, earning a degree in English and Journalism. He then attended the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts and shortly thereafter began his radio career with part time gigs in Adrian and Jackson. Tom has been the News Director for radio companies in Jackson, Elkhart, Indiana and now in Battle Creek.
