Tim Collins, a Plainwell native, came to WBCK in 1989 as a DJ and talk show host, and became program director a couple of years later. Tim is currently the Operations Manager of Cumulus Radio/Battle Creek, and program director of WBCK-FM. He still gets on the air once in a while.
Tim also plays the trumpet, flugelhorn, and is occasionally caught "scat-singing" with his dance combo "The Collins Crew" and "The Kalamazoo Big Band." Tim is sometimes seen on stage as an actor in Civic Theater productions.
Tim and his wife Debbie live southwest of Battle Creek with their new puppy "Scruffy", rescue dog "Race" and four cats: Jake, Elwood, Rupert and Oscar.
